​SAVE THE ANIMALS

The World Animal Protection started in 1950, although it has changed names many times. In 1950 it started out as The World Federation for the Protection of Animals. In 1959 The International Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals also formed. Then in 1981 both of these organizations came together and formed The World Society for the Protection of Animals. Then later in 2014 we changed our name to World Animal Protection, which is what it is called today. Since 1950 it is our job to help animals all over the world.

 

We are always there when animals need help. From helping animal after the Haiti earthquake to investigating animal trafficking in El Salvador, we have grown in our work to help protect animals everywhere. We focus most on the animals needs. Our mission is to move the world to protect animals.

 

We are a non-governmental organization that focuses on animal protection.
